Sixteen destinations in our records issue a visa on arrival to Pakistani passport holders. On arrival is not the same as visa-free: there is a desk, a form, sometimes a fee and occasionally a letter you were supposed to obtain before you flew. Here is the full sixteen from the records behind the Can I Go? Checker, with the condition attached to each.

The 16, with stays and conditions

  • Burundi: 30 days. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required.
  • Cambodia: 30 days. No extra condition recorded.
  • Comoros: 45 days. No extra condition recorded.
  • Guinea-Bissau: 90 days. A prior authorization letter from the Migration Office may be required; yellow fever certificate required.
  • Madagascar: 90 days. The on-arrival fee varies by length of stay; register on the Electronic Border System before travel.
  • Maldives: 30 days. Complete the IMUGA traveler declaration within 96 hours before travel; a confirmed booking at a registered tourist facility is required.
  • Nepal: Up to 150 days per visa year. Issued at Tribhuvan International Airport and designated land checkpoints. The 150 days are an annual cap across visits, not a single stay.
  • Palau: 30 days. No extra condition recorded.
  • Pitcairn Islands: 14 days. Very limited scheduled transport; verify landing arrangements before planning around it.
  • Samoa: 90 days. An entry permit issued on arrival; onward travel required.
  • Senegal: 30 days. Obtain a visa prealable authorization letter before travel and arrive via Dakar Blaise Diagne airport; yellow fever certificate required.
  • Sierra Leone: 30 days. A USD 80 fee; yellow fever vaccination certificate required.
  • Somalia: 30 days. An eVisa is also available; visa on arrival at Mogadishu Airport.
  • Sri Lanka: 30 days. A free tourist ETA for Pakistani citizens since 26 May 2026 in our records; onward or return ticket and proof of funds required.
  • Timor-Leste: 30 days. No extra condition recorded.
  • Tuvalu: 30 days. Return or onward ticket, confirmed accommodation and sufficient funds required.

The three that ask for homework first

Senegal requires a visa prealable authorization letter before travel and entry through Dakar's Blaise Diagne airport; arriving without the letter is the classic way this route goes wrong. Guinea-Bissau may require a prior authorization letter from its Migration Office. Sri Lanka is recorded as a free tourist ETA for Pakistani citizens since 26 May 2026, filed by our dataset under on arrival because the approval is a formality completed online before departure; do it before you fly, not at the desk. Nepal deserves its own note: the 150 days are a cap per visa year across all visits, not a single stay and not a per-trip allowance.

What to carry

The recurring conditions across the sixteen are a short checklist: a passport with validity to spare, an onward or return ticket (required in Samoa and Tuvalu, and for Sri Lanka), confirmed accommodation (Maldives and Tuvalu), proof of funds where asked, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate for Burundi, Guinea-Bissau and Sierra Leone. Fees are mostly small or unstated; the recorded exceptions are Sierra Leone at USD 80 and Madagascar, where the fee varies by the length of stay you request.

Questions this list answers

Is visa on arrival the same as visa-free? No. Visa-free means no visa process at all. On arrival still involves an application at the border, a possible fee, and a small but real chance of refusal at the desk, which is why the homework cases above matter. Does Nepal's 150 days reset on each trip? No. It is a ceiling for the visa year; days from earlier visits count against it. Where is the visa-free half of the map? In the companion list of visa-free countries for Pakistani passport holders, and the mechanics of on arrival versus eVisa are compared in visa on arrival vs e-visa.
